Why did you become an acupuncturist?
My journey to acupuncture was a twisty one. The “why” of why I became an acupuncturist is not as important as the fact that I now realize this is what I was born to do.

What distinguishes you from other acupuncturists?
I work with patients who have both emotional and physical pain that has become intertwined and is holding them back from enjoying their life.

What do you enjoy most about your work?
Helping my patients attain their long-term and short-term health goals.

What is the biggest misconception you hear about acupuncture?
That it hurts! I love hearing a first-time, needle-phobic patient say, “Hey, I didn’t feel anything.”

How do you stay healthy in your own life?
I walk the walk. I eat a balanced diet, meditate, play, get some exercise, receive acupuncture and massage treatments as well as following up annually with my Western medical practitioners.
