Why did you become an acupuncturist?
As a patient, I experienced profound results from acupuncture and wanted to share the power of the medicine with others. I love how my practice allows me to support and build community health.

What distinguishes you from other acupuncturists?
I truly believe that the body’s natural state is that of balance and health. In my practice, I value each patient’s own wisdom and experience.

What do you enjoy most about your work?
I love my work. It is such an honor to share in someone’s healing.

What is the biggest misconception you hear about acupuncture?
People often think that it will hurt, and it really doesn’t have to. I strive to be both gentle and effective in my treatments.

How do you stay healthy in your own life?
I try my best to live a balanced life. For me that means cooking meals with friends, walking my dog, riding my bike, drawing and quilting.
