Why did you become an acupuncturist?
I came to acupuncture because I wanted to help people achieve their life goals in health and happiness. I have spent the bulk of my professional career in Western medicine and was dissatisfied with how this system works. So it was a natural calling to come to acupuncture to seek this change in myself and in the people I care for.
What distinguishes you from other acupuncturists?
My focus is on you—the whole you for the highest quality of care. I am dedicated to the ethical integration of integrative medical therapies and the preservation of health and wellbeing through the practice of Oriental medicine. Your care is most important and this is why I practice to do well and do no harm. I act in your best interest and society as a whole, and I protect your ability to make informed decisions about you and your healthcare.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
Seeing profound changes in the people I care for. Helping people to achieve wellness in a meaningful way.
What is the biggest misconception you hear about acupuncture?
That acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine are nothing but placebo and have no real value to society.
How do you stay healthy in your own life?
Living in harmony with the world. Regular physical activity. A diet filled with many types of organic food experiences. Personal growth through self analysis. And of course, regular acupuncture.
