Why did you become an acupuncturist?
I became an acupuncturist because I am a healer at heart. Practicing acupuncture and Chinese medicine allows me to be the best healer I can be.
What distinguishes you from other acupuncturists?
I actively engage my patients in their own healing process and act as a facilitator for their transformation to health and wellness.
What do you enjoy most about your work?
I am fulfilled by my work as a healer, and I am honored and grateful to be a part of the healing process for so many.
What is the biggest misconception you hear about acupuncture?
The biggest misconception is that the needles hurt. Mostly, they do not.
How do you stay healthy in your own life?
I eat healthy, whole foods. I also drink lots of water, exercise regularly, avoid coffee, meditate, spend time with friends and family, and get plenty of sleep.
How important is food therapy in your practice?
Food is our first medicine and is the basis for wellness. All of my patients receive food therapy as a part of treatment.
